With the year closing and some of my most important work nearing conclusion, I’m thinking a lot about what’s ahead and how to expand the world of the resources that I share. To those that are new here…

Hi, my name is Prince Shakur. I run Millennial Writer Life and am an artist, writer, organizer, etc. My first book (WHEN THEY YOU TO BE GOOD) comes out October 2022 with Tin House Books.

I’ve worked hard over the past year to continue this newsletter and I’m excited to expand more MWL content to paid subscribers.

What kind of content?

I’ll be expanding into more audio content about the highs and lows of my debut year, how to navigate the publishing process, and strange tips I’ve learned along the way, like how to get literary agents to come to you or the importance of starting on a new project while you’re querying, on submissions, etc.
